We recently sat down with Mark Griffith, a member of the Business Development team who works directly with our clients, to share information about his background and role in supporting the SMEs.

Sharjah Media City (Shams), the UAE’s fastest growing media free zone, and Beehive, the UAE’s first regulated peer to peer lending platform, have partnered to provide cheaper funding for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Shams.

To date, Beehive has facilitated funding to over 600 creditworthy SMEs in the UAE. In the last post in Beehive’s ‘Meet the team’ series we met with the business operations team who work closely with the business development (BD) and credit teams to assess businesses looking for funding. This time, we will meet Suraj Gopal, Investment Director in Abu Dhabi to give us an insight into his role at Beehive.
